⭐️👍⭐️ Finally, a portable AC that actually works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the DREO 8,000 BTU unit for my home office, and it exceeded my expectations. Most portable ACs are clunky, but this one looks sleek and premium.
The effectiveness is top-notch. It dropped my room temp from 80F to 72F in about 15 minutes. The “iceCool” system really pushes the air far. I love the controls - the DREO app is super intuitive, and syncing it with Alexa was a breeze. I can chill the room before I even get home.
Maintenance is the best part: the drainage-free system actually works. I live in a humid area and haven’t had to drain it once. It’s also surprisingly quiet (around 45dB), so it doesn’t interrupt my focus. In terms of power, it’s consistent and doesn’t struggle even on the hottest days.
If you want a smart a smart, powerful, and quiet AC, this is the one. Highly recommended!!

I love this new AC unit!

This unit is smaller in size than the last one I had. And it cools the room better than the old one did!
Setup was a breeze. Just had to read the instructions on which pieces I needed to use for my window size and slide the pieces together and tighten the wing nuts. This was a huge upgrade. It has wing nuts you can tighten on the window extension pieces. It's not flimsy like all the others I have used before. The hose clips into the window unit solid and does not seem like it will come out. That hose slides into the back of the unit and it's ready.
I turned it on and within a minute felts cool refreshing air coming out of it.
It was quiet for what it is. I turned it on high. It was not "whisper" quiet, but not loud. I slept with it on high with no issues.
It's a smart unit and you can control it with home smart devices which is nice so you can cool the room before you get home.
The remote has a magnetic holder on the back of the unit so you don't lose it.
One of my favorite parts is the drain. They include a hose to drain the water into whatever you want. Instead of having to move the unit and drain it. Huge bonus for something I already loved.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned 2 other portable Air conditioners and this is the the best one by far. It has a bunch of features. You can run the fan ,ac or dehumidifier. It has a magnetic spot on top of the unit to place your remote. The display is bold in beautiful. Large size remote comes with batteries. I have this in my bedroom running the hose through my kitchen window. The hose is not long so I ordered a hose extension online. When you cut the Ac on or off the panels open and close automatically. Easy to install, 24 hour programming and wide oscillation. Amazing product i need to get the 12,000 btu for my living room. This 8,000 btu is good for a small room. I barely had it on medium and its working great.

Fairly small and compact, and easy to move around if needed. The cooling seems good so far and it’s extremely quiet! Easy to set up, easy to control… all in all just another great product from Dreo

A literal lifesaver...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having this portable AC in my climate is a blessing in disguise. We get up to 119 (our record) where I live. In recent years, I've had intermittent central AC issues where it doesn't blow cold air. I borrowed a friend's portable AC just in case the problem persists or becomes more of a permanent issue, but I can't keep that forever. Having this Dreo AC gives me a sigh of relief that I'm covered in an emergency. It's just the right size for our master bedroom. It gets cool quickly and has a great user interface and app. The app itself can change the temperature, speed control, scheduling, child lock, customization, and smart maintenance alerts for filter cleaning. It even has voice control through Alexa and Google. Can't beat that. These features are much more intuitive and user-friendly than the unit I was borrowing. I will say, it's not whisper-quiet, but at 45-54dB it is quieter than most similar units. I'll take a little white noise over being hot and sweaty any day. The peace of mind and reassurance this unit gives me is well worth the cost. Dreo definitely is at the top of their AC game and I'm thankful for that.
