Bought this to try with my girlfriend, and now it's something we both look forward to experimenting with for all kinds of desserts.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Freezes stuck to the bottom

The ice cream mixture freezes solid to the bottom. I’ve tried pouring in once it has started to churn and making sure the mixture is cold. Very disappointing because the design looks like an improvement from the previous model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
