So much fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got this for a fun activity with the kids and it was a hit! It is so easy to make ice cream with this and it’s quick too! It is smaller than I would have anticipated but still fun and cute activity. It works well I would recommend!

It is super easy to use and works wonderfully. My 11 year old has figured it out herself and uses it on her own now. Makes the perfect amount.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked this up earlier today. I also picked up the ingredients for one of the recipes that came with it. This product is so easy to use. It also makes a great desert and I can use sugar substitute to make it healthier than store bought ice cream.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never owned any sort of Ice cream maker but having this was such an enjoyable experience . I decided to make Frozen Yogurt and it had a thick and creamy texture which was quite yummy . I loved how easy the machine was to put together and use and I'll be continuing to enjoy other types of treats with this awesome machine . I love that it's small enough so it doesn't take up much room in my freezer but still makes a good amount of ice cream .

One of my great weaknesses is ice cream and now I can make any flavor that I want and have it all to myself!

A bit of a disappointment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kids were pretty excited about using this for the first time, and it was a bit of a letdown. We should have gotten one maker per child to head off any difficulties. The base of the maker (the mug part) must be in the freezer for 24 hours prior to use, and it can only be used one time before it needs to go back into the freezer for another 24 hours. This means that it won't make enough ice cream to share with more than one person. The maker comes with 3 recipes, and we really couldn't find many more online. After going through the trouble of freezing the mug for 24 hours, and then going through the process of following the "vanilla" ice cream recipe, which requires the use of a stovetop to boil the milk (plus the cooling time prior to putting in the maker), the ice cream that was produced after 20 minutes of mixing in the ice cream maker was the consistency of soup. The instruction manual recommends putting it in the freezer if a more frozen result is wanted. Overall, it was a good lesson for the kids to see that ice cream "can" be made in this, but should it...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The My Mug Ice Cream Maker is easy to use and makes great ice cream, sorbet and frozen yougurt. My teenager was able to figure out how to use it without any help. Just freeze what you want to turn into ice cream the night before and the next day you can have a pint of fully customizable goodness.
