preset programs will turn the TV on at the proper time.it also has much better sound quality.

Nice but not great for sports

Not bright enough!

Display is not bright enough to watch dark scenes if any lights are on in the house. I'm also not a fan of forced ads popping up over everything else through the LG OS. I'm very disappointed in the brightness of this tv.

Great picture. Casting/Mirroring? Poor manual

Great picture. We love our other LG tv so it was an easy choice to get this one. Bought the 55UR8000AUA. I'm having a hard time finding if this tv has built in casting or mirroring capabilities. Internet has told me yes and no. I downloaded the manual and it isn't helpful. I miss how detailed manuals used to be.

Thanks for the 4-star review of the 55UR8000AUA TV! This unit does support built-in casting and mirroring, for Apple devices, you'll need to use AirPlay, and for Android devices, Screen Share from the Home menu is accepted. Make sure your phone and TV are on the same Wi-Fi network, then select the TV from the cast/mirror option on your device.
