Great picture but has some quirks

We purchased this TV in Nov, 2023, and for the most part, performance has been very good, although the remote control operation is sometimes quirky, and we recently started having a streaming issue. Remote control operation does NOT always work smoothly, especially with Amazon Prime where navigating through shows and making a selection can be a crap shoot, as the cursor seems to time-out too quickly. The recent streaming issue appears to be related to the lack of a dedicated app for Acorn TV, forcing us to use a web link to get to the website. This worked OK until 2 to 3 weeks ago when the web app started crashing about 10 to 15 minutes into the show we were watching. The TV would display a message similar to "this app must be closed to free up memory". We would then be given the option of restarting the app from where it crashed, or starting it over. We would start again from when it crashed, but it would crash again in 5 to 10 minutes, and do this repeatedly, which was very annoying.

Bedroom TV and PC monitor

This 50" LG 4K TV replaces another manufacturer's 4K set that stopped working after less than 3 years. So far I've been pleased with the performance and quality of video and audio reproduction. It took me a bit of time to acquaint myself with WebOS operating system and the Magic remote control but it wasn't that long before I had all the connections and settings figured out and tweaked. I hope this LG TV will give me many more years of quality service.

Happy with the set!

Overall I am happy with this wonderful TV; however, about 6 months later it developed a vertical line on the right side of the screen. LG took care of the matter within 2 weeks.

We bought this because are 50" UHD tv didn't have near as good a picture as this 55" LG did at Sams. We got home and set it up. Picture is Great when I turn it on the first. Then as I get it connected to Xfinity, I notice picture is not as good,
it seems the broadcast picture is not as sharp. Prime TV very much better. I think I will have the cable guy come out and see if we are getting the best signal. It is not the TV.

Slow TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV two months ago and I regret it ever since. It’s too much trouble to return! I have the fastest Internet services and still the TV works like a snail!! I just remember I bought a similar slow LG TV five years ago but now with the new tv I am surprised that the same technology never changes! The mouse on the remote is worse than a snail!
The only good thing about LG is the vivid color and picture that other brands can not compete!
