I bought this TV for my in-laws for Christmas. The TV worked great then the screen went black. The TV is on but there is no backlight.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great television, the color is better than ever expected. This my third Element TV. And first smart TV. Wow I had no idea of all the free channels. My friend spent hundreds more for another brand. Both 65 inch both smart TV’s, Ours matches or does more. Ha ha Element is the better choice, and I paid a-lot less.
