the transition from Gas was easier than I expected.

Terrible Product - DO NOT BUY!

We moved into our new home in July of 2022. We purchased all new Frigidaire professional series appliances. Our first cooktop lasted 7 months and needed replacing. Our second one is now broken again!!! This will be replaced under warranty because we purchased an extended warranty. We could not say it strong enough…this is a TERRIBLE product. DO NOT BUY.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very nice looking cooktop. I really like how this one has knobs (so many induction have buttons now). Love how fast it boils water. The high-pitched noise it makes while on is a bit annoying though. And the stainless steel part scratches super easily

I bought it about two months ago and I just installed it a week ago and so far it seems to be working perfectly. Talk to me two years from now and then will really know how good and Appliance it really is.

So efficient!

I am new to induction cooking and was a little reluctant knowing I had to buy new pots etc and I had really come to appreciate my gas cooktop as it was "instant on and instant off". My new induction cooktop is even faster and the time to heat is instantaneous, moreover than my gas cooktop. Added to that is the ease of cleaning as it is a flat surface with no elevated burners or grates. I will never go back!
