Couldn't be happier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this cook top installed for a month and it works exactly as hoped. We are still getting used to how quickly induction heats and how hot it can get, but overall, it's such an amazing change switching from traditional electric to this. We'd been warned about how easily dutch ovens can scratch the glass surface and I did purchase teflon burner covers to try to protect it, but even when we haven't used the covers, I haven't noticed scratching. It is a bit noisy when operating, it sounds like fans blowing and can be a little high-pitched, but it's not really that big of a deal to me. I really love this cooktop. He had ours custom painted to match our oven and dishwasher for a 1960's look.

Solid induction with convenient knobs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been using this daily for a few months. Great induction power! Love the big burner and the griddle feature. I use it with a cast iron griddle that I’m just gentle about placing.
Glad we went the bigger 5 burner.

Best kept secret in cooking!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchase my Frigidaire Professional cooktop last month when rebuilding my kitchen. Everyone said gas is the way to go....but frankly I've cooked on electric for the last 20 yrs and wasn't interested in learning to cook again. The induction cooktop is everything it says and more! Super even cooking and quick! I love the feel of the cooktop itself. It's not smooth like glass like my old cooktop, it has a texture to it that seems more durable and less condusive to to scratching. No more instantly baked on " boil overs". It just wipes clean. I love the dials as well as the digital read out of the temperature and am anxious to try out the griddle feature. Great buy!
