Great Household Machine

I have been using the Dyson now about 3 months. My house is all tile and difficult to stay clean with dust and cat hair. I was tired of cords and hoses and purchased this machine. I chose this over the Animal because of the multi heads. The soft cloth head is perfect for the tile and the open head is wonderful for the area rugs. I keep it on the lower speed in the entire house and high speed for tougher areas, like the kitchen. The battery will do my entire 2600 Sq Ft house at this level. I did not give the machine 5 stars due to the awkwardness of the machine. It is not easy to empty the canister. You have to unhook the rod or it is off balance and when you pull up on the lid, the bottom often does not open immediately. It is also very painful to hold for even a short period of time. The handle is hard and bulky and hit right on the top of my thumb bone. The design is a working machine with no thought to comfort of the user. Otherwise I love and recommend this machine.

Great tool

I love this vacuum! It is lightweight, which is important to me, keeps a charge while vacuuming my 1100 sq ft house, and is great at picking up all kinds of debris. I don’t have a mud room or a place to drop dirty shoes before coming inside and this vacuum helps keep the crud under control. I wish I picked up this vacuum sooner!

Convenient, but battery does not last

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how quick and easy this cordless vacuum is for messes. We have a Labrador retriever who sheds a lot and it seems to do a good job with picking up that up. However, the battery does not last very long at all.

We replaced our Dyson Big Ball corded vacuum with this model and there is no chance we would ever go back! Lightweight and powerful is the "dream team" in my estimation. We have all hardwood floors, a Golden Retriever, a hound mix and lots of fur to keep up with. Love, Love, Love this vacuum!

Absolutely loved it until it stopped working for me after only one year. Very disappointed since this is not cheap.
