I got this dyson a month ago and couldn't be happier. I have a malamute and a lionhead bunny so the house definitely has a layer of unseen fur. But this V8 picked up everything in its path. I love this product!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This item is absolutely worth the cost. The suction power is amazing. Only issue that I have is the max mode really drains the battery.

Good vacuum

I bought this a couple months ago. High price for what you get. It's a good vacuum except for the battery. I wish it charged faster or held a longer charge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Your vacuum, while smaller, lightweight and cordless, can still pack the same power as a corded vacuum cleaner. This will all be thanks to the powerful V8 motor which spins at 110,000rpm, providing you with powerful suction, making our cordless machines the most powerful cordless vacuums. Your Dyson V8 Absolute also includes a direct drive motorized brush bar, which is designed to provide up to 150% more brush bar power than the Dyson V6 cord free vacuum.
With regard to battery life, you do have two suction modes on your machine. In Max power run time will be up to 7 minutes, and in standard power, you can expect run times of up to 30-40 minutes depending on which tool or attachments you are using. You should find that regular power is good for everyday cleaning, and MAX can be reserved for larger messes or more stubborn debris.

My favorite vacuum ever

This vacuum is extremely convenient and very effective. Love all the tools that come with it. We have small dogs, so have lots of dust bunnies. It is easy to chase them down with the Dyson. Dumping the dust cup is a snap - literally! The battery lasts as long as I care to vacuum anyway, so I am not concerned with its use time vs. a plug-in type and it is SO convent not to have to deal with a power cord.

My husband thinks I may have a problem.

This is our 4th Dyson...so apparently, I have a problem. Lol
We already had canister and had 2 cordless models about 5 years old (one for upstairs and one for downstairs). Got the v-8 Absolute and gave one of the other cordless ones to my mother. Everyone's happy :)
Note - Hubby wanted a Roomba. We have 2 miniature dachshunds, and I have no desire to see what a Roomba will drag all over my floors. I am, however, willing to try out the Dyson hair dryer if you need an honest review. ;)

Best vacuum ever!!!

I bought this vacuum over a year ago, and it’s been amazing. The cordless feature is by far the best and the multiple attachments allow me to use it to clean any surface, including my car. It was pricey but the price is definitely worth it. Highly recommend.

Great vacuum/ quick cleanup!

Easy to use and light weight vacuum. Charging station makes it super easy to store and charge. Love that I was able to get it in gray and with all the attachments imaginable!! Makes "spring deep cleaning" chores a breeze and more likely to do them more often!
