I made this Major purchase hoping that it was justified. I have now found out that I have made the right decision. This Dyson V8 is so quiet and the power that it has is phenomenal! The tools fit every situational need and the battery life for me is great, the easy empty bin is a time saver also. I have a small house that I can use the vacuum for it all before the battery may need charging. Just a great investment YES!

Best vacuum ever

I use this more than a regular vacuum. So convenient. Works better than our regular vacuum as it picks up a lot more. Great on carpet and hard floors.

Love the longer battery life

As an owner of the previous model V-6, I was looking for the new model V-8
And the new canister design to make dumping easier.
Love it. Bought 2 now. Does a great job on the floors with my 2 German Shepherds.

It is so easy to vaccum and being able to go from room to room and not have to plugging and unplugging it in. Time is saved by this feature and I can don't mind vacuuming.

Best Vacuum I’ve Ever Owned!

I am beyond delighted with my new Dyson V8 Animal Vacuum! It’s lightweight, yet powerful suction. I love the fact that it’s cordless. No more yanking the cord or even tripping over it anymore. This is the best vacuum cleaner I’ve ever owned and I’m almost 70 years old so I’ve owned a lot! I’m vacuuming more now than I have in a long time, and actually enjoy doing it!

Suction is on the weak side. It is unbalanced in my hand. There should be a power button hold. There should be storage options for all of the attachments.

Nothing better when it comes to cord-free

This is the third machine I bought, one for my daughter and one for me (us...), both "animal V6".
Excellent cleaner, handy, lightweight and very efficient, beside the fact that reaching the darkest and farther spots in the house is no issue.
Unfortunately no more animals in the years to come and now the versatile V8 is the weapon of choice.
I have been a design engineer all my life and I greatly appreciate the superlative design and appealing style of all Dyson products.
In my next life I will apply for a design job at Dyson.

It would be a 5⭐️ if there was a way to carry multiple tools with you around your home as you vacuum. Other than that, a SUPERB product. Props to Dyson!
