A definite improvement. I like the quieter unit with better battery life and the new smooth floor attachment works well. Emptying the bin is so much easier and the HEPA is a plus. Finally a refined cordless vacuum that works great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to use, Get’s in hard to reach spots. So easy to empty. The only thing I wish is that it had the ability to stay on without squeezing the trigger.

Our new home has hard wood floor throughout, which requires continuous vacuuming. We love the lightweight cordless Dyson Absolute V8! It makes the chore a simple task!

The Dyson wireless vacuum is very good overall and is mostly convenient to use. The one issue my wife says is the trigger does not lock in place and hurts her finger for holding the trigger for some time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am very happy with my Dyson. The V8 is definitely the right choice for us with 2 kids and 2 dogs. I appreciate the battery life which allows me to do the whole house and emptying the canister is fairly hassle - free. My only complaint is that hair get caught in the roller and that is not as easy to clean. That said, I'm not sure even Dyson can fix that problem. It's not cheap, but when you use it, it's worth every penny!

Will never have a cord again!!

This is as powerful as my plug in Dyson. I am sooooo happy to not have a cord. I forget it has a built in dust buster. It is just as powerful. The price is pricey but I think worth every penny. I sold my plug in Dyson in one day.
