Great pick up power

This unit is a great improvement over my original Dyson DC-35 (which still works). Although the battery lasts longer, using the full power mode zthe time is quite shortened. I've had some difficulty opening the bin to throw out trash. You really have to pull hard. But maybe that's because it's new. Regardless, this dyson is great and I wouldn't change it. I have an Old English sheepdog and Persian cats so my carpets and hardwood floor need constant vacuuming. I prefer using this vs a big and bulky vac.

I love this vacuum!

My daughter and son-in-law gave this to me for Christmas last year. I have a very painful back and even though my big Dyson Animal is so much easier to use than other vacuums I used to own, it still hurt my back tremendously. This one is a breeze to use, and not having a cord to deal with is amazing! I love having this to make my life so much easier. Aren't my kids the very best?

Great for Grandma!

I recently brought home a new puppy. My boy tracks in dead grass from the yard so my new Dyson is essential and so very easy to use. Proud to be a Senior with a new puppy and a new Dyson! Living my best life!

After a rocky start with my new purchase, I got great help from a gentleman on its Service team, and wish I had began using this Dyson earlier.. Great on stairs, and easy to store and charge.

We are satisfied basically with everything but the battery. The more we use our Dyson the less life we seem to be getting from a recharged battery.

Suction is great and it cleans up a lot of pet hair and dust. Max suction is really good as well and container is adequate space to hold dirt/dust/contents. Battery life for time used based on my floor plan is sufficient. I don't like that I have to hold and press the on button/trigger, that item should have an auto lock to keep the machine on or off instead of the constant holding. I also don't like when after vacuuming if you stand up this Dyson, some contents come out of the brush head.

The accessories make the cordless!

I a have an older dyson canister vac and was excited to finally cut the cord. The v8 not only picks stuff up as well as the canister, it came with this cleaning head that works great on hardwood and bathroom tile. This head has changed my cleaning life. Battery good and light. It is odd how a device to help with chores can bring such joy. But true!
