Gets the job done

I received this item as a father's day gift from my mom. It works great and picks up significantly more pet hair and dirt than my roomba and can reach pretty much anywhere. All the attachments are great too for stairs, counters after making cookies/pizza with flour all over, and getting pet hair off the couches. My only complaint is the handle; it needs ridges or grooves for a more ergonomic grip. My thumb rubs up against the top and is a little raw after a few rooms. I plan to try a few different pads to alleviate the problem, but i've only had it a few days and haven't taken the time yet. For now i keep a mechanic work glove on top of the wall mount and wear that while i clean up my messes.

Quick to charge, very powerful, we use it on medium thickness carpet and the battery (almost) does the entire 3 story house, bare floors and all, with a single charge. I can't fault the machine, or the battery - we were extremely surprised at its power and capabilities, especially with the multiple heads.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good for floors

This is a very good handheld vacuum cleaner. It has excellent suction power. However, it does not go over carpets well. This is the only issue I have with the machine.

Just fired up this master piece of a machine and let me tell you this machine can clean carpet and wood floors like no other. We have earlier machines and they just keep getting better. Keep up the great work. We are customers for life. Oh Yeah your story of how the Dyson came to be is awesome.

Have it two weeks and it really works well - picks up everything. Wish you didn't have to hold the trigger to keep it on during those longer jobs

It has many tools for cleaning different surfaces. I particularly liked the special tool for cleaning hard surfaces because I have a lot of hardwood floors. The special tool is very gentle on the hardwood. It is really easy to push around.
