Read carefully: run time is misleading

Battery is bad. From day one! You can try to run the machine your self and take measurement
The thing is! I wrote a review about this
They contacted me
And it was upset as support was treating me like if I am buying a special machine that needs a special driving license for a heavy machine !
Just admit that run time is not true !
I bet if they have a third party audit for the run time
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to read your review and see that you're having issues with the run time your V8 provides. Your machine offers two suction modes - regular and MAX. Right out of the box, the machine is going to be set to MAX. This mode provides a boost of suction making it ideal for larger messes or more stubborn debris. This mode does give less run time - about 7 minutes or so. Regular power, which should be sufficient for everyday cleaning, will give you up to 30-40 minutes of run time, depending on if you're using the motorized floor tool.

We have used it a lot! It's great for every area of our house! My wife loves it because it's so lightweight and no cord to mess with! I love it for the same reasons actually because I can look like super husband doing quick clean up! Only reason, four stars is the battery life is about 20 min to 40 min depending on setting and attachments used. Very satisfied customers though!

The cordless feature of this vacuum has simplified my life! I have several areas on my wood kitchen floor that seem to always have a collection of crumbs. Now, I just grab the Dyson from the pantry and its taken care of! No more dragging out the corded vacuum and messing with a cord. I also used to dread vacuuming the stairs, now I vacuum them several times a week ....its so simple!

It's light weight and surprisingly quiet sound deliver the effective cleaning power that you would expect only from a heavy weight, loud, difficult to maneuver, corded vacuum which is what I've struggled with for years!! The V8 Absolute easily meets the challenges of our fluffy dust-bunny spreading Havenese dog and dark wood floors thruout the house. The power head for wood floors removes not only the obvious inevitable puppy fluff but also that difficult fine film of dust inherent with wood floors. ----and amazingly no pet hair/dust sticks to the head It all goes into the easily emptied collection bin. The power head for my accent rugs delivers the deep cleaning of my old huge upright vacuum Also love the easy maneuverability of the power heads. So easy to use the accessories and reach those lampshades and high places due to its light weright and no cord. I could not be more pleased.

Wow. Great vacuum

This is the best vacuum I have ever owned. Plus it’s cordless and gets up more dust, dirt and pet hair than our large corded vacuum. Without a doubt would recommend it to anyone. Actually I have shown several of my friends and encouraged them to purchase. Hmmm maybe I should get a commission
