My cleaning partner.

I bought it 2W ago and it helped to reduce cleaning time almost half.
It is really light and easily movable and powerful. This model can clean every where, floor, carpet, very narrow area, coner area, bed, sofa.
I am totally satisfied, but only one thing I feel a little bit inconvenient is that I have to push the button while I clean the room. There is no automative function.
But, it is really awesome, I can finish the cleaning just for 40m.
I would recommend this to a friend!

BEST VACUUM EVER

I've even owned other Dysons but I have never held one of the hand held, in fact when I first saw them I thought that you would have to be crazy or stupid to purchase one of those. Well, I am now crazy in love with my Dyson V8 Absolute. My husband wasn't as convinced as I was but I wanted it so much that he just said to get it. It is delivered to our door by UPS and I get it out, plug it in to charge it and start reading the instructions. It takes for ever to charge because I am sitting there watching it. Once it is charged we start using it and there hasn't been a day that we don't use it at least two or three or four times a day. My husband uses it as much as I do. I just cleaned my bathroom. I cleaned under the sink and put the brush on the end. I had to ready in quite a ways but the vacuum did all of the work. I used it for every little job and then when I was finished I used it in the drawers and then I used it on the wooden floors. I have to tell you that I hope I never have to go a day without one of these Dysons. LOVE IT!

I'm an older person with a touch of arthritis in my hands and this machine is perfect for my needs. I can handle it easily and the features are great I highly recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a portable vacuum.

V8 Absolute - the best

Best attributes of V8 Absolute: 2 power levels, great suction especially on high, bagless clear chamber to view when full, quick & simple to empty contents without coming in contact with debris, HEPA filter & prefilter, easy to snap on or off any attachments, versatile and well designed attachments provided such as the up top adapter which bends to reach difficult areas, quickly transforms from an upright stick vacuum to a hand held to clean my car or stairs, convenient wall docking station to store and charge when not in use, and 2 year warranty with excellent Dyson support.
Con: Very few. Cost, but you get what you pay for, less than 10 minute run time when on max suction but 40 minutes on normal suction (60 min on newer more expensive models), 5 hr charge time if you didn't finish vacuuming but can buy a second battery. Don't like the yellow tube color but this was model I wanted.
Very satisfied overall with the very portable V8 Absolute.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this about a month ago. I easily unwrapped, installed it, and let it charge. It was easy to learn to use it. It works perfectly. Since we have a small house, it is adequate as our primary vacuum.

They tend to every detail even things you don't think of! Great choice of useful tools. Much quieter than my V6 Animal plus stronger and long lasting. Great charging dock which stores tools. Hard floor head is a great addition.

Wish I bought one sooner

I bought my second one a week ago. I say second as I own two homes and purchased one several months ago for my 1st home loved it so much I had to get one for my other house.
I have 5 dogs and usually 1 or two foster dogs at any given time. My house constantly has a coating of dog hair across the floor. With the Dyson cordless I no longer have that problem. It is so easy to run it around the floor every day. Having tile, hardwood and carpet its a breeze to switch between attachments. It holds a charge for a longer time then I expected and does an amazing job or getting all the dog hair off, floors, carpets and yes couches. I highly recommend the V8 and wish I had bought mine sooner.
