Great Design

I have purchased this just 3 weeks ago and am thoroughly pleased with the versatility and ease of use. Above all I love the power and am amazed every time I empty the container to see how much the sweeper picked up. I have not had the opportunity to use all the attachments yet, but will be starting my annual housecleaning soon and will be putting them to good use on my window valances, drapes and blinds, etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The machine is almost perfect, it’s light, powerful and also very compact. Has almost all the tools you need already included. But, and this is a big but, the battery isn’t easily removable, you cannot just swap out if you are running low on battery. You have to stop what you are doing to charge it. Not the best and most convenient.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The V8 Absolute is suitable for most flooring and carpeting types. However, we are unable to test our machines on every permutation out there. Therefore, we always recommend that you contact your rug retailer/manufacturer before using your new Dyson or any other vacuum cleaner. Some retailers have specifications on suction power, brushbar and even brand.

Love love love this machine!

I have 4 large breed dogs who shed so bad and they love destroy every toy they own. Before my Dyson, I pretty much tried everything under the sun to keep dog hair and chewed toy pieces at a minimum... I got surprised with this little miracle machine as a late Christmas gift and now my house is so clean! As a pet owner and someone who has asthma I highly recommend this vacuum! Between the two heads and attachments it gets virtually everything up! Dust, dirt, hair, dander, tiny chewed toy pieces...etc. Long story short, I love this vacuum! <3

Powerful and multipurpose

For the first time, the living room hardwood floor is so clean that I don't feel the tiniest particle on my feet. I've used it on a couch, upholstered bed, rugs, hardwood floors and my allergies have improved. The only flaw is that you have to keep your finger on the power button. My finger cramps up if I use it for too long.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Doesn’t work on carpet’s

Works great on bare porcelain floors but doesn’t work on carpets regardless of which speed it’s on. I was really excited about my new cordless Dyson until I tried to vacuum my carpet in my bedroom and it didn’t work. The bar stopped rotating and it made noise but not even the simplest of dirt was sucked up. It works fine until you attempt carpet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
