Dyson V8 animal

This is amazing how such a light vacuum can be so powerful. It is so easy to use and lasts so long. Even if not on max power it picks everything up. I have 2 dogs and a cat and it gets all the fur up easily. It is unbelievable.

Look Forward to Vacuuming

Bought the V8 about a month ago and it was the best money I have ever spent. Was so tired of dealing with cords, the regular vacuum falling over when using the attachments and sore arms and shoulders from pushing around a full size vacuum. The V8 cleans as expected for a cordless and the handheld option is a joy. You can do a one-run cleaning in regular mode including vacuuming the carpets and cleaning the couches and stairs. Love the max suction feature which I just wish lasted longer than 7 minutes. Other than that, I am super pleased and love that the vacuum hangs out of the way while charging. A must have!

small, lightweight and heavy on pickup

I just purchased my V8 animal dyson and am waiting for it to charge so I can begin using it. My daughter brought her V6 dyson over for me to try out. I loved it so much I didn't want to return it. Finally after 3 days she came to get it. I have 2 labs and 1 cat so you can imagine the hair problem in our home. With my dyson I don't have to worry about plugs and heavy vacumms; just take my dyson off the dock and go. Love it!!!

clogs and motor labors quickly

With a few dogs we have dog hair & this clogs up quickly. When it clogs up the motor oscillates between sucking and not sucking. There is some hair in the container, but does not seem to be enough to prevent it from working. Frustrating to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does the job but not ideal

Works adequately for my needs but this thing is NOT comfortable to hold as all of the weight rests on your thumb next to the trigger. Also, why they thought it would be a good idea to include 6 attachments but only space to store 2 of them on the charging dock is beyond me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
