Good suction and easy to empty

This vacuum cleans well, especially pet hair. However, you have to hold the switch on at all times, which maybe could be an option for the price. Also, it doesn't stand up by itself which can be a nuisance at times. That being said, I really like it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lightweight and easy to use!

I just purchased this a week ago and I love it! So easy to use my 4 year old is able to use it. I am able to vacuum my 2100 sq foot house on one charge, I use the high suction on the hardwoods and max suction on the carpet to save the battery. After I received my new Dyson Animal (I have two dogs) I used it in my family room that I had just vacuumed with my old vacuum and just steam cleaned, so much more dog hair came up, The suction power is great and changing to the handheld and other tools is super easy.

It's already our second Dyson. We had the Dysen V6 Animal Pro for the past two years and we were very happy with it. Now we have bought the V8 Animal Pro and we love it !!!

Most versatile vacuum I've ever owned!

My daughter owned one and after using hers, I had to have one. I haved used my dyson vacuum everywhere and I love!! I have a parrot and his cage is always such a chore to clean around with the discarded seed husks and pin feathers, but my dyson cleans up everything in a very short amount of time. It's heads fit under most of my bookshelves getting all the dust bunnies and debris. I'm going to get wood floors soon and I'm looking forward to seeing how great it will work on them. I would recommend this product to anyone and have. I told my future son in law about it and he went and bought one himself. He also raves about it.

Just purchased this item as I have 3 long haired cats and lots of carpet. The suction is terrific and pick up of animal hair is better than my full size Dyson. I recommend it highly. Only problem is, as with any cordless device, it does run out of power...otherwise for those with pets, it is a must have device.
