I bought this V8 model. Overall it is good. One thing I want the manufacturer to consider is that the orange pipe through which dust and dirt are supposed pass through. It looks beautiful, but it got stretched too easily. Upon my first use of it, it was scratched. For its functions sake, no problem. However, I want it to be produced with a more strong scratch-free material.I strongly recommend that you should reconsider revising the orange pipe material into a better stuff.

We have 2 dogs, hardwood floors and many different plush lengths of area rugs. This vacuum is BY FAR the best! Pick up all the hair, large crumbs, even dander! It is SO light and hold a charge a long time!

Battery sucks

Have had the machine for a year and a half and the battery will no longer hold a charge at all. Even new it barely lasted 10 minutes, but now its nothing more than a wall ornament. Always equated Dyson with quality, but I seem to have been mistaken.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Super handy

This thing SUCKS! That's a good thing, after all it is a vacuum. I use it primarily in our family room which is large and has a lot of furniture to get around. It is great to not have to drag a cord around all that. Being able to remove the shaft and attach the pickup head directly to the power head makes it really convenient for seat cushions and stairs. I'm really glad I bought this!

Absolutely love this cordless vacuum/ Easy to use and picks up amazingly well. Will be getting one for my daughter next Christmas.
