Very little battery life

Great machine! Works awesome until your 7 mins is up. That’s right, the battery only lasts 7 mins in max mode and 20 mins in low mode. So unless you clean like the road runner, it’s only good for quick small messes. For the price it’s not worth it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello, this is Kelly with Dyson. Thank you for your review of the Dyson V8 Animal Pro +. We're glad to hear that you were happy with the machine, in your use. This vacuum will come with standard and Max power modes. Our cordless models also have a run-time enhancing light touch trigger which ensures battery power is only used when the trigger is pushed. In Max power run time will be up to 7 minutes, and in standard power, you can expect run times of up to 30-40 minutes depending on which tool or attachments you are using. We generally would recommend reserving Max suction mode for more stubborn messes or larger debris, as suction in regular mode is typically sufficient for everyday messes. Handiest vacuum for quick clean up and ease of use. I am really please with this vacuum. To not have to deal with a cord is a real plus.

Excellent vacuum & best Christmas present, Ever!

My Husband surprised me this year and got me this little vacuum, and it's completely exceeded all my expectations! Super easy to use, lightweight, good battery life, and it pacifies all my OCD cleaning needs in our home (with hardwood floors, area carpets & a beagle). I've been very happy with his purchase, and even bought some additional accessories. Proud to now be a loyal Dyson customer & have recommended them to my family and friends. Best Christmas present, ever - the gift of a hassle-free clean home!

GREAT PRODUCT

have been an Oreck for years, easy and powerful, Yearly maintenance was cost effective completed by me.
When my wife showed me this vacuum, i did not want anything to do with it.
After some reservations, we bought one. I am here to tell you, I'm impressed.
We are both over 65. No more tripping over the cord.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to use and store

As an older couple we enjoy the ease of simple storage. We have had a Dyson upright for many years and loved it, but as we have gotten older we never secure the cord and put the hose system back together and the vacuum gets put in the nearest corner to be tripped over the next time one of us walks by. Our new vacuum is wall mounted and ready for use. No tripping over hoses and power cords. My wife has found the vacuum easy to use and does those little things like cleaning the fan blades, AC grills, getting crumbs out of the freezer drawers, lint out of the dryer, spider webs that accumulate in the corners, along with the rugs and carpeting in the house. Within the first week we wondered if we really had just 1 cat as we have gotten so much more hair up off the floors. This is a dirt, hair, dander sucking fool. Great product.
