I used it to pull the endless shedding wool from my favorite carpet on day one and it’s completely changed my place. No more wool shed everywhere. Love my dyson

The vacuum is so light weight and easy to use plus change out the attachments. Does a great job picking up dirt on hardwood. Stores well in a small closet.
I highly recommend it.

You’re only Buying The Name

I bought this a few weeks ago. My wife and I were excited to try it out with our new hardwood floors. We quickly learned that it isn’t all it’s hyped up to be. It does not preform well in low suction mode. Therefore when we have to use it in max suction mode….however this means that the battery will only last 10 to 15 minutes. Yes you heard that right. 15 minutes tops!!! This is so very irritating! You are only paying for a name and the looks. That’s all. Plus it doesn’t even have a light on it. I’m not happy at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello, this is Kelly with Dyson. Thank you for your review. We're sorry that you're not having a more positive experience with your V8. Your vacuum will come with standard and Max power modes. Our cordless models also have a run-time enhancing light touch trigger which ensures battery power is only used when the trigger is pushed. In Max power run time will be up to 7 minutes, and in standard power, you can expect run times of up to 30-40 minutes depending on which tool or attachments you are using. Generally, most owners will find that regular power provides enough suction to tackle everyday household messes, and MAX power can be reserved for more stubborn messes that require a burst of powerful suction.
Dyson takes feedback from our owners seriously, as we understand that the comments we receive from our customers help us continue to move forward and create technology that makes sense. When designing technology, we are conscious to make sure that our products interact most efficiently for and with our customers. Although we're not able to guarantee satisfaction of all our customers, we have made provisions that allow a customer to return a product within 30 days of receipt, if ordered directly from Dyson. If you've made the purchase elsewhere, we'd recommend checking with that retailer's return policy to see if you're eligible for a return.

Easy to handle

Replaced a very noisy , dust blowing machine. The Dyson is so easy to handle for seniors. Does a great job on all flooring and dusts high and low. Very easy to empty. Also like the HEPA feature of breathing problems. Great machine!

I have to say I really was hesitant to spend the money but after saying this I must say it was money well spent. It makes life so much easier than dragging around my old floor vacuum or messing around with cords having to change outlets constantly. Also my old floor vacuum was not nearly as mobile and certainly couldn’t get into areas this one can. Absolutely love it. Whenever it dies I can’t imagine not buying another one.
