Loses charge quickly!

I've had a Dyson in the past and it worked great and lasted 10 years, so when I bought this Dyson, I felt confident in spending the money, however, I can only vacuum my living room and it's battery dies. It then takes a few hours to recharge, so it takes a whole day until I can get my entire house vacuumed. I do use the power button, which I realize takes more power out of the battery, but I feel I need to this to get up the dog hair, this feature just works better. So although it works well at getting up dirt and dog hair, it's frustrating not being able to vacuum my entire house all at once. I would never and will never buy a charged vacuum cleaner again unless maybe it comes with extra battery packs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's versatile, durable and you honestly couldn't ask for more! The benefits of able to switch vacuum heads quickly and switch from carpet to hardwood and everything in between are incalculable.

The only complaint I have is that I am an idiot for not buying this machine sooner. Best vacuum I've ever owned. Between my hardwood floors, carpeting, carpets, dusting and car, the easily interchangeable attachments make it so easy to handle all these tasks. I can't believe how much dust and debris collect in the container bin so quickly. Makes me wonder what my old machine and dust cloth were missing. But no issues, emptying the bin takes seconds, then I'm back up and running.

So Easy to Use

I love my Dyson since it is so easy to use! Since I’m getting older, it was hard for me to drag my other vacuum around. Now I can vacuum whenever I want. Now the only problem I have is my daughter who lives next door is forever borrowing it. I'm going to buy her one!

I bought this for my neat freak husband for Christmas. We have a corded upright Dyson, and he sometimes gets it out twice a day to battle the dog hair and the dirt the kid produces. I figured this might be easier for him to grab when the Christmas tree dropped it’s needles and such. I was right. What I didn’t know was that it’s actually BETTER than the upright Dyson! It’s quieter, sucks up dirt better, and lasts even through a full house cleaning. The canister is easy to empty if the dogs are shedding too much. As the anti-cleaning half of this relationship, I love how much my husband loves this vacuum!

I am thrilled with my V8 Absolute. Works great on hard floors and carpet. Really removes dust well. Run time is really great as well. Very powerful on the lower setting that extends run time. I also have a Dyson upright that is probably close to 10 years old that is still running strong. Love the Dyson quality.

I absolutely LOVE my Dyson V8. It is lightweight, SUPER easy to use, maneuvers great around or under things, I can change tool in seconds, easy to empty the cup, easy to clean the filters and has great sucking power. If you are thinking about it...JUST DO IT!
