Easy and simle to use

It was a gift because I saw that my daughter had one and her one-year-old son was using a V7 and he had no trouble using it. It's easy to use and hung on a wall out of the way and ready to use at a moments notice. It's small enough to take out and vacuum my cars without the need to drag out the larger vacuum and part the car close to an electrical outlet outdoors. There are enough attachments to do all of the cleanings I do, and it also picks up pet hair without a problem.

One thing missing

The vacuum is exceptional and the attachments are excellent, however the attachment storage leaves a lot to be desired. Basically a big handbag to store things in is very disappointing. What would be excellent, even as an optional purchase would be a tool storage that attaches to the wall the same way the charging station does that has a click lock spot for every attachment.

1 week down - LOVE VACUUMING (seriously)

We've only had the V8 for about a week now and we absolutely love it. Light weight, cordless, easy to empty, quiet. So many positives. Instead of being a 'chore' now it's something you just do and almost look forward to it. Room dirty? Let me get the vacuum. The attachments make whatever you are doing super easy. Absolutely love it.
If i had to put any negatives. You have to hold the button down while you run it, which really isn't a big deal. And the charge time (which also isn't a big deal). 40 mins is plenty to get whatever job you are doing done. Oh, wish there was some 'organizer' for all the wonderful attachments once the vacuum is hung on the wall.

Powerful Vacuum

Bought my animal V8 cordless stick vacuum about a week ago. My house keeper was the first one to use it and even though she brags about another brand she has, I think she was quite impressed with my Dyson V8. She swept rugs, floors, and carpet and never ran out of power. I am not sure if she tried dusting with it but I did use it on my curio cabinet with the soft dust brush and thought it did great. The dust was not flying around in the cabinet which is the problem I had when I dusted with a soft rag or duster. My house keeper and I were especially impressed on how well it swept the area rugs without sucking them up into the roller. (did I mention I have 3 dogs and a cat)? So this little machine had it's work cut out for it and passed with flying colors. It also runs along time on one charge. The only fault I have is I wish the turn on button could be put in a hold position without me having to hold it on. Something to work on Mr. Dyson. I definitely would recommend this vacuum.

I have two german shepherds and this vacuum makes cleaning the hair and other dirt they bring into the house so effortless! My floors look so much more cleaner ever since I started using this vacuum, Im even able to vacuum the hair off of my couch! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of the battery life. I wouldn’t say the vacuum gives 40 minutes, like advertised. It’s more like 15-20 minutes depending on the suction power. Overall, I would recommend this to everyone!
