First of all; I have a DC33 for almost 10 years and it is still working excellent, I had repaired a minor cosmetic issue but this is a great tool from Dyson. I really appreciate the thoughtful design of these machines and everything that Dyson produces. This is an outstanding company. Now, we bought the V8 Absolute and we are even more impressed with such beautiful design, with such a great details and mostly with the efficiency of a Dyson. The quality of the V8-Absolute is visible and tangible; this is a great investment and a great tool to implement in our home. We can clean our vehicles and every single place inside our home, easily and more efficiently. We really appreciate such professional and outstanding company. Big thank you.

Battery drains too fast

I’ve had this for a couple of years now. I also have a roomba which I run daily, so I don’t use Dyson every day. But lately, I noticed that the running time has been shortened. I used to be able to run the entire downstairs and upstairs on the regular mode, but now I can’t finish even a half of upstairs in one charge.

Great Suction

Vacuum has great suction and rug cleaning at the low level setting. A little dismayed at the battery useful time, but longer life batteries are available at a decent price.

I bought this a couple week ago. Because my Nieghbor have one. I have all kinds of vacuum in my house. But I have to pull out the hose all the time. With Dyson I'll just take out of the charger and voila. I'm loving it. I have two cats and a dog. Works great!!!

Excellent vacuum

This is my 3rd one. I bought a shark and it was lousy. This is the best Dyson yet. Good suction, easy to handle, Great Wall attachment, love the extended time to vacuum.

Great cordless vacuum!

I love my new Dyson cordless vacuum! We have 2 large, shedding Akitas & I have to vacuum quite often. I love being able to grab this cordless vacuum & quickly vacuum up their fur & really love how easy it is to get under furniture.

Do not dread vacuuming!

I did my home work on this purchase. Out of 2400 reviews this vac had 2200 5 star. The ones that were not 5 star were about things I could live with. There were 3. First one was the dirt bin was hard to empty. Yes it is to begin with because it's new and not knowing how it all works. I find now that I've emptied it quite a few times it's not so hard. Second one the dirt bin is too small and you have to empty it a lot. I find this is not a problem. I like emptying it and seeing all the dirt this mighty machine has picked up. The third complaint I read about was you had to hold the trigger continually. This is not a problem. Does not feel uncomfortable. Now let me tell you how much I love this machine!!!! It hurt spending the money on this vac. I watched videos and read reviews and the reviews were 5 star after 5 star. I just had to see for myself. The reason that I was shopping for stick vac was because we rescued a lab puppy and the hair was like snow. I needed relief and this dyson gave it to me. I can't believe it's battery operated. The dirt this thing pulls up is crazy! I have to say at this time I have no regrets spending the money. This vac is everything the reviews say it is. I am amazed every time I use it. This one has 40 min charge and on regular setting I have vacuumed my whole 1300 sq ft home. I use full charge and vaccum my rugs. The suction on this thing is unbelievable!!! Cleaning up is so easy now. All the attachments are great. You will have no regrets! I don't.

It never runs out of charge for me, since I have such a small floorplan. It's so easy to grab and use quickly. And much lighter than my old vacuum.
