Now I love to vacuum!

This has transformed vacuuming in our home. No longer do we have to find an outlet and move the cord from room to room. As powerful as our upright vacuum with better suction power, especially with 3 dogs!

No More Tripping Over the Cord!

Very impressed with the power for a cordless appliance! And it's great not to worry about accidentally pulling the cord out of the wall or tripping over it. East to convert to hand-held and easy to empty the bin. It picked up a lot of dirt and dog hair that I didn't even know was there. I've only used it a couple of times, but so far no complaints.

the only reason i do not like it are:
You have to hold the buttlon all the time when you are using it.
That's no light at the sucking head.

Hello Allen, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry that you've been disappointed with your V8 Absolute. I can confirm that the majority of our vacuums do not offer a light at the cleaner head. Currently, the only model with any type of light is the Dyson V15 Detect. This vacuum features the Laser Slim Fluffy™ cleaner head, which has a laser to illuminate dust on hard floors.
With regard to battery life, run time and the trigger, we know that battery run time is a very important aspect of performance for our owners, so we developed a trigger that helps maximize the amount of time you can clean on one charge. We chose a light-touch trigger over an on/off switch to ensure that battery life is never wasted by letting the machine run when it's not in active use. Love my new Dyson, We have 4 of them

Couldn't resist buying another, we live in several locations and use this cordless Dyson avery where. This is the top of the line model with more time on the battery, better suction. These cordless Vacs are so useful everywhere in the house v. getting the big machine out. Have been treated very nice when calling Dyson for service. We also have a Dyson heater in the bathroom.

Great for quick touch ups for hair from the pups!

We love our Dyson for quick touchups for hair from our two labradors. We have a Kirby that we love but was a pain to drag out to use for quick situation and touchups. This fits our needs perfectly.

I am loving my new V8 vacuum. It is much quieter than my old one and the 40 minutes is perfect. I am so happy with the duel attachments for hard floors and carpet. Dyson is so worth the money. The products last longer and work more efficient than any other brand. I actually get excited to clean now. Thank you Dyson for making our lives easier.

Almost Perfect!

I love this new Dyson rechargeable! It makes doing a quick pick up so easy. It's light, too, which I appreciate. It won't replace my compact Dyson, but it is exactly right for keeping up with three dogs! My only complaints are that you can't keep the trigger on without holding it and the design of the trigger causes my thumb to rub against the handle in an uncomfortable way. But those are small issues compared to how great this product is.
