Who Knew!!!!

I purchased the titanium Dyson V8 and it's the best purchase of 2022. It has changed vaccuming from a chore to an enjoyable activity for me. I finally have a way to get rid of the dog hair, hard to reach spots and ceiling fans, plus it converts to clean the car. This thing is a win/win to me.

Light and maneuverable

At age 85, my upright of 4 years was too heavy and clumsy. For 15 years I had used a central vac in my old house, which was light. My Dyson V8 is a dream. So convenient to clean the car. Why did I wait so long?

Absolutely the best

To make it simple let it suffice to say we have not taken out the upright from the closet since our Dyson arrived. Easier, quicker, quieter, makes vacuuming a pleasure.

Maybe it sounds goofy but I call it my toy. So easy to move that it’s not a chore. It picks up everything on hard floors and carpeting so I can clean the entire house with just one tool. It’s so lightweight. My first cordless and I will never go back to pulling and plugging and lugging. I will be buying another as a gift. Also love the tool attachments.

This vacuum cleaner has many great features—great suction, cordless convenience, handy attachments, ease of emptying dirt. However, with most of the weight at the top of the stick when using, and the fact that you have to keep your finger on the trigger, using the Dyson for more than a very few minutes aggravates my tendinitis and makes my arm hurt.

I wish the charge lasts longer

The vacuum cleaner is easy to use and it cleans well. The problem is the battery charge is short lived . Very inconvenient to run out of charge in the Middle of cleaning. It would be better to have a cord to attach to the cleaner to finish the job. So the charge cord should have a dual function to charge the battery and to run the cleaner if the battery is low. Even though I like the the vacuum cleaner I believe there is a big design flaw that really diminishes its advantage. The 40 minutes number is not correct. On the higher setting the vacuum stopped after 15 minutes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Yehia, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're glad to hear that in your use thus far, you have been happy with how well the V8 Absolute cleans your home. Your machine comes with two suction modes; regular and MAX. Max mode will provide you with a boost of suction power, but only about 7-8 minutes of run time. This mode is great for larger debris or more stubborn messes. Regular power will provide you with up to 30-40 minutes of run time, depending on whether you're using one of your motorized tools.
