Getting my money's worth.

Okay, this is the most money we've EVAH spent for a vacuum cleaner. Worth. Every. Penny.
Seriously, this is the Tesla of vacuums. It gets daily use picking up loose dry kitty litter that gets kicked outside the litter box. Not a problem, and easy to empty over a trash can. Do make sure the bin if actually over the can, right?
It's also the quietest vacuum I've ever owned. The cats don't scramble off in panic when I fire it up. Nice.

This has transformed vacuuming in our home. No longer do we have to find an outlet and move the cord from room to room. As powerful as our upright vacuum with better suction power, especially with 3 dogs!

No More Tripping Over the Cord!

Very impressed with the power for a cordless appliance! And it's great not to worry about accidentally pulling the cord out of the wall or tripping over it. East to convert to hand-held and easy to empty the bin. It picked up a lot of dirt and dog hair that I didn't even know was there. I've only used it a couple of times, but so far no complaints.

the only reason i do not like it are:
You have to hold the buttlon all the time when you are using it.
That's no light at the sucking head.

Currently, the only model with any type of light is the Dyson V15 Detect. This vacuum features the Laser Slim Fluffy™ cleaner head, which has a laser to illuminate dust on hard floors.
With regard to battery life, run time and the trigger, we know that battery run time is a very important aspect of performance for our owners, so we developed a trigger that helps maximize the amount of time you can clean on one charge. We chose a light-touch trigger over an on/off switch to ensure that battery life is never wasted by letting the machine run when it's not in active use. Love my new Dyson, We have 4 of them

Couldn't resist buying another, we live in several locations and use this cordless Dyson avery where. This is the top of the line model with more time on the battery, better suction. These cordless Vacs are so useful everywhere in the house v. getting the big machine out. Have been treated very nice when calling Dyson for service. We also have a Dyson heater in the bathroom.
