This is my second one - Love It!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have one that still works. but it is slowing down and I want it for the patio and I wanted a new one for the inside. This works great. So much more run time and easier to use - lighter and easier to empty. Looks like the hair won't get wrapped around the roller either. I live in a small condo and love to take it from room to room. And it's footprint is small. I love all the attachments, too. Highly recommended.

Great, lightweight cleaner

I got my unit over 2 years ago and love its ability to clean and with attachments versatility of where ( car, couch, under dresser, rug, wood floor). My sister's unit came with wood floor head, mine did not so I miss that. Over all, I would say-- go on just get one. You will be investing wisely.

I already own two of the cordless vacs and LOVE them!! my house is large so we have one upstairs and one downstairs. I needed another downstairs that would run longer. This V8 feels much sturdier, I can't say enough good about Dyson products. I own six and I've given my daughter 2. Best vacs ever! My favorites are the cordless. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and the big vacs are a bit too heavy for me now. My housekeeper uses those for me. I can easily run the cordless with no problems at all. Love em!!!

Great vacuum!

I had the v6 and now the v8. The v8 has some amazing new features and is easier to clean. Longer battery life. But I did not see a noticeable change in suction power. I'm glad I have it but if you have a v6 you probably don't need to upgrade unless you need the newest toys. Which I do lol.

I replaced my big clunky upright with this---not sure if it would handle all the jobs around a house: wood floors, carpets, wood blinds, dog hair.... I'm very pleased with this vacuum....clear instructions for setup included, online video support, and it does a great job. Lightweight for us senior citizens too! This is a keeper and worth the price.

I really am enjoying my Dyson V8. My only negative comment is having to hold the on button. I wish there was an on/off switch. My fingers get tired!
