We have a Golden Retriever - I LOVE my Dyson

We have bought four different vacuums trying to solve the problem of picking up the hair constantly shed by our golden retriever. Although a couple worked well, they were so heavy I avoided using them. I had to constantly clean the rollers because the hair would get tangled in them. Our dog sleeps under our bed and the vacuums would not fit under the bed so hair would PILE up until I got on my knees and combed it out. The cordless Dyson is WONDERFUL. If you have a dog that sheds it is worth every cent to get this vacuum. It also swivels, gets under furniture, gets in corners, works on carpets and hardwood floors. Have I made my point...I am so happy that I made this purchase!

Having my own dog walking and pet sitting business hair is a major issue especially owning 5 golden retrievers. The new V8 Comes with what I think is a pet hair attachment. Long pet hair is no match for this unit This is by far the best cordless vacuum I've ever owned. I have the V6 motorhead and a V6 animal The V8 run circles around both. If you have dogs especially that shed, this is the backing you want.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the cordless Dyson because I broke my foot and the my corded vacuum was too heavy for me to take up and down stairs. This one is lighter. I has really good suction for a cordless vac. Wish the trigger could lock in the on position as an option

I have had the old Dyson stick vac for so many countless years and it still works but not very good. I was hesitant to buy this one, as I have two other Dyson's the larger ones and the ball vacuum. I am so very HAPPY I got this one. I think I will use this one more than all of the others. It is fantastic and it has so much suction, so much better than my older model stick vac. With my arthritis this is just perfect. More than pleased...

We bought this vacuum 2 weeks ago and it is def the best vaccum we've ever had! Lightweight, convenient and very powerful. We have pets and their hair is no match for the V8 Animal, hair doesn't wrap around the brush like other vacuums. Spot cleaning is a breeze, the unit is always charged and ready to go. We chose the Animal because of all of the attachments, the soft roller does a great job on the tile floors! We wish that we would have bought one years ago. It is quiet and runs long enough to clean our 1800 sq ft. home with time to spare. Yes I have already recommended it to our friends.

I have used the Dyson for a few months. I am very happy with the performance. I now use it exclusively for all my vacuuming tasks. It is great to use a product that I can tell is well engineered.
