Great....but

I purchased this a few weeks ago and it works great but there is one thing that annoys me and one that bothers me. What annoys me is that the smooth floor attachment squeaks like a mouse when using it and it feels like its dragging on my vinyl floors. Glad I don't have wood floor as I think this attachment would scratch the wood. What bothers me is that I have to continuously hold the button in to keep the vacuum running. That's not a small thing when you have arthritis. Wonder why it was chosen to make it that way and not where you just push it and release and it goes, push and release and it stops, or be a slide button. I do love however how light weight and how powerful the suction is. Any suggestions on how to stop the squealing of the wheels? As I won't use WD40 for fear it will stain my floor with the oil.

I purchased the V8 for use in our Airstream which has some carpeting, hard floors, small spaces and bench seating. With the various tools, the V8 makes cleaning the RV a snap. But, I couldn't resist trying it out on my living room carpet. I was amazed at how easily that plush carpet was thoroughly cleaned. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely!

I have a cat that sheds hourly. So much hair. Tried several vacuums and lint rollers. They didn't solve the problem. Could not believe how much hair the V8 picked up. The bin was full after vacuuming the sofa, love seat and two recliners. Completely full. I love it.

Very powerful and does a good job taking care of the dog hair, dust etc. Battery lasts longer than my old battery handheld. I think it was a good purchase for me!!!

This vacuum cleaner is the best one I've ever had and I've had about 20 over the years. It's light, easy to use, and is powerful. I love it. And I don't think I've ever loved a cleaning tool before.
