Very easy to use

I love my new Dyson. The top is a bit heavier than I thought and the vacuum head swivels a little too easily. But after a few uses, you get used to it and it’s a breeze to use. SO much easier than a corded vacuum. Would buy again and I would recommend it to family and friends.

Really nice vacuum

WE purchased the V8 after returning the V6 in hopes of being able to vacuum our entire 1900 sq ft. house. So far so good! I love the light weight of the V8 and the maneuverability of it as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love love this vacuum! All my friends and family know me to be the OCD clean freak and this has taken my cleaning to the next level.
1. Easy to grab when you have a quick mess
2. Versatile- I go from the carpet to hardwood, to couch in seconds.
3. Easy to empty the dirt
4. Easy, easy, easy, and effective!
The bit of feedback, I would give is that the accessory with the felt roller is hard to clean and gets dirty. work on being able to take that out and wash would be amazing!

LOVE MY V-8 VACUUM

After getting the getting instructions understood ( which were not very good instructions) I just love the vacuum. Once you understand the instructions it is very simple. I like the fact that the vacuum stops when too full. We have a Golden Retriever when the machine gets too much hair it stops. It didn't take long (about 5 or 10 minutes) I thought I would send it back. but then I pulled up the motor by the red handle and emptied the hair and trash it had collected, pulled the trigger and it started. (that really made me happy). If it gets overloaded with dog hair --- it stops and just empty it and go on with the cleaning. Be sure to turn you button on top to the left. Slide the oblong button on top to the solid black circle. Once you get the hang of using the Dyson it is wonderful. I love it.

V8 performance

The V8 is very powerful and works well on carpet and smooth surface floors. It is easy to empty, but have not cleaned filters yet. The main drawback is that the unit as well as parts are cheap plastic. It will only be a matter of time before one breaks. Just hope it is a part that can be easily replaced. For the price one would expect a sturdier and better made unit that would last for many years.

Great vacuum

Really like vacuum and would buy again. Cleans amazingly well. Very well engineered. Motor driven heads for carpet and solid floors work very well. Couldn't believe how much dirt in canister after vacuuming carpet that had just been vacuumed by our old upright. Only complaint is trigger switch not at all comfortable. My finger hurts after maybe 10-15 minutes of use. Wish it were less expensive, but you get what you pay for.
