I bought this because I bought a .dyson animal cordless vacuum a year ago. I loved it so much because of the way it takes care of my dog's hair, which she leaves all over. So I bought this one for up-stairs so I have one on both floors. I just love it.

Expensive, the right tool for the job.

I have a 2800 sq foot hous....90% hardwood floors with dogs. This makes it so much easier to whip it out and do a quick pass to keep the floors clean. It is not a project like when I would have to take out the other vacum with the power cord and unplug it and plug it back in 3 times. Must faster which means i tend to want to vacuum more.

I didn't know how fun vacuuming could be until I purchased the Dyson V8. Before this vacuum I dreaded chores. The plugging and unplugging, constant off and on, being limited by the cord, the back and forth, the noise and the back breaking moving of the furniture! Now I just go up and over, under and around. I can listen to music or have a conversation while I am using the Dyson and it's motor also gives out a soft breeze to keep me cool while I go. What used to take me a good hour I can do with the Dyson in 25 and I enjoy it! Husbands love to use it too. I highly recommend this product for anyone who has floors!

I love the convienence of the cordless V8.

The suction on the V8 is impressive. The attachments are all useful tools. I bought the V8 because of it's increased suction, the Hepa filter and the ease of empting the bin without getting dirty myself. But most of all I wanted it for the convenience. We've attached it to the wall in the laundry room with easy access to all rooms including the car in the garage. Attachments are easy to switch out, the heads maneuver easily and of course it's cordless! I can do our 1500 sq. ft. Florida bungalow on one charge. I like this vacuum so much I'm going to buy one for our summer home up north.

great suction and cleaning power

When I read the ad I thought this is the vac fir me! It was as advertised! So easy and convenient to use and great suction power. Of course it lasts longer on lower suction power but I found it to clean gray on the lower setting. Only rarely do I use the higher setting. When I finish cleaning I plug it in and it's ready for the next cleaning.The dirt cup is a good size. In fact I liked it so much I bought another one for our RV.

I’ve owned several vacuums and this one is the best i have ever owned. Lightweight, powerful, easy to charge, easy to change attachments, Easy to empty trash. I just love it!
