I wish I had bought this a Long Long time ago. Having multi cats can be challenging. This vacuum is perfect and does more than I thought it could. We are having a wonderful relationship.

Not the greatest in my case

I really wanted to love this vacuum cleaner since it was highly recommended by friends and other reviewers online. However, with 2 Huskies that shed a lot and a 4 bedroom house, this vacuum isn’t ideal for my family. It’s pretty powerful on max mode and does get all the hair and other debris off the floor, carpet, and other surfaces, but the battery lasts for about 10 minutes which is usually enough to vacuum the kitchen/dining room/living room areas. I then have to charge it for 3 hours to finish vacuuming the rest of the house, which is quite annoying. I love the fact that it’s cordless but wish the batter would last for at least 30 minutes. Regardless, it’s not the best vacuum for households with dogs with long hair that shed a lot. This is my humble opinion. I personally wouldn’t buy it again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Professional Suck

This one here is light comes with useful attachments we use it for stairs and our cars much better than our V6 that lasted 5 years unfortunately dyson refused to extend our warranty to we had to shell out money for a new one

Magnificent in every way!

I bought this little gem about 6 weeks ago, and I am thrilled that I did! It is so light weight, and that nifty swiveling ball lets me go everywhere. Requires almost NO effort on my part. I love the cordless feature. That was a game changer! It cuts down time needed to do the job by about 50%. This was invented by a genius!

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a curved stair case that draws dust and the Dyson made short work of sucking up all of the dust and grime. It only took me a few minutes to clean plus it cleaned around the wrought iron rails so easy. I hated to clean the staircase with the swiffer which left a lot of dust behind; not so with my new Dyson.

Simple - Right out of the box

Very intuitive and easy setup right out of the box. I have both wood an thick-carpet floors, and the Dyson V8 has had no problems cleaning everything off any kind of floor. Attachments are a breeze to install and remove - no issues using them to clean out both of my autos. Recharging is a snap. A fine choice overall!!
