Excellent choice to remove cat fur from my carpeted stairs! I am very happy with the dual suction option, too.

I couldn't wait for it to come! I have the Dyson big ball Animal and love it (5 yrs +) but I have nerve damage in my right arm, so I needed this to make it easier on me... I Love it

Not what I expected

Returned it. Did not perform as well as advertised. Vacuumed large rug first with dyson then with my current vacuum and the dyson left pet hair and dust. Loved the cordless feature
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

While the powerful suction mode is ideal for the majority of cleaning tasks, the max mode is engineered to be a temporary boost of power for particularly stubborn messes.

Great cordless Vacuum

I am extremely pleased with my new Dyson V8 Absolute. I thought I would like it, but I love it! Easy to maneuver, light weight to carry up stairs and very versatile.

Best vacuum I have ever had. Should have bought one years ago. The ease of emptying is amazing. I have 3 dogs and now I realize how much dirt and hair we were missing. Would recommend and already have to other people.

I wish there was a lock for the power trigger button, because you have to hold the button down the whole time while vacuuming instead of an on/off button or switch
