Not worth the money

It works fine when it works. The battery life is short.

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're glad to hear that for the most part, you've had an overall positive experience with your Dyson V8 cord-free. Your vacuum will come with standard and Max power modes. Our cordless models also have a run-time enhancing light touch trigger which ensures battery power is only used when the trigger is pushed. In Max power run time will be up to 7 minutes, and in standard power, you can expect run times of up to 30-40 minutes depending on which tool or attachments you are using.
With regard to the overall battery life of the machine, we would certainly expect your battery to outlive the 2-year guarantee provided with your machine, when it's purchased brand new and from an authorized Dyson retailer. The best for blitz cleans

This is my first cordless vacuum and wow am I impressed. I have a more heavy duty dyson from years ago and I think I won’t need it anymore. This is incredibly easy to use and works amazing at picking up crumbs in the cabinets to hair/fur all over the apt. This vacuum is a gamer changer and will certainly keep my apt clean in a daily basis.

Huge Disappointment

I LOVED this vacuum so much when I bought it. Was the greatest thing I had purchased in a long time. Loved it so much... I bought a second one. Now, I am left with two (almost worthless) vacuums. The battery just doesn't hold a charge. I have always washed both filters, emptied the bin every time I use it, and left it hanging on it's cradle. There are no available batteries and am thinking I will now have to get two new vacuums.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I couldn't wait for it to come! I have the Dyson big ball Animal and love it (5 yrs +) but I have nerve damage in my right arm, so I needed this to make it easier on me... I Love it

Not what I expected

Returned it. Did not perform as well as advertised. Vacuumed large rug first with dyson then with my current vacuum and the dyson left pet hair and dust. Loved the cordless feature

I am extremely pleased with my new Dyson V8 Absolute. I thought I would like it, but I love it! Easy to maneuver, light weight to carry up stairs and very versatile.

Best vacuum I have ever had. Should have bought one years ago. The ease of emptying is amazing. I have 3 dogs and now I realize how much dirt and hair we were missing. Would recommend and already have to other people.
