I had the V6 gifted to my daughter and upgraded to the V8 since I bought a bigger home. The V8 battery last allot longer and it’s very powerful. I bought my V8 during a sale which also included additional attachments. I love the dual heads that you can swap out for hard or soft surfaces. Very reliable and you can cover allot of ground in a short period of time. I raved about my V8 so much to my mom, she purchased one too.

Great Vacuum

great suctions, and very light, only draw back is not easy to clean and battery runs out quick, especially when vacuum a mattress, all the linens are tangled together, took me a long time to clean the roller.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am enjoying using this cordless vac. I am able to get under furniture that I couldn't with my upright. I do wish it had an on-off button rather than having to hold the button down. My hand gets sore being in the same position for a long time.

I waited so long to have a dyson vacuum. When I got it I loved it but stuff keeps breaking. I’m now on my 3rd one. Nothing works very unhappy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. I'm sorry to see from your review that you've had so many issues with your V8. While I'm not certain what keeps breaking, or which part may not be working, this is an unusual issue to have on multiple units. Dyson cord-free machines are made from polycarbonate ABS - the same material used in riot shields and crash helmets. They are tough, so we subject them to hours of testing, including drop and impact tests. Exactly what I was looking for.....read tons of reviews on other makes/models and they all compared themselves to Dyson. Decided to just buy a Dyson and am glad I did. Very light weight and easy to use. Love that it's cordless so can be used for spot cleaning as well. Overall very happy!
