Fantastic Vacuum

Got V8 as a Christmas present. Simply an excellent device with all the attachments you need. Battery live is great and I love not having to bother with the cord.

LOVE MY DYSON

I recently purchased the Dyson V8. I'm so happy I did! It really does pick up the dog hair so much easier than my central vac and also my upright vacuum. It really helps with the carpet on the stairs also. It's so easy to pull out and do a quick cleaning and I haven't run out of power yet. It comes with great attachments also. I would recommend the Dyson to everyone.

Purchased about a month ago and has been used on the wood floors and small amount of carpet. Basic unit works well, handles easily. Have not had an opportunity to try any of the attachments or use it to vacuum the cars. We have no pets and our 'dirt' is light. Vacuum every week. Just enough charge to do our 1900 sq. ft. Have not used the max setting yet.

I own a regular upright Dyson and didn’t think could love any Dyson more, but this
baby is my new favorite. So easy and responsive—one-handed cleaning and it’s even beautiful. What’s not to love?

I had the V6 gifted to my daughter and upgraded to the V8 since I bought a bigger home. The V8 battery last allot longer and it’s very powerful. I bought my V8 during a sale which also included additional attachments. I love the dual heads that you can swap out for hard or soft surfaces. Very reliable and you can cover allot of ground in a short period of time. I raved about my V8 so much to my mom, she purchased one too.

Great Vacuum

great suctions, and very light, only draw back is not easy to clean and battery runs out quick, especially when vacuum a mattress, all the linens are tangled together, took me a long time to clean the roller.

I am enjoying using this cordless vac. I am able to get under furniture that I couldn't with my upright. I do wish it had an on-off button rather than having to hold the button down. My hand gets sore being in the same position for a long time.

I waited so long to have a dyson vacuum. When I got it I loved it but stuff keeps breaking. I’m now on my 3rd one. Nothing works very unhappy

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. I'm sorry to see from your review that you've had so many issues with your V8. While I'm not certain what keeps breaking, or which part may not be working, this is an unusual issue to have on multiple units. Dyson cord-free machines are made from polycarbonate ABS - the same material used in riot shields and crash helmets. They are tough, so we subject them to hours of testing, including drop and impact tests.
