I like the vaccum alot but it needs to have a charging station that wil hold all 4 attachments.

Inadequate for dog hair

I LOVED this vacuum so much after a couple years I bought a second one so I now have one upstairs and one downstairs. But 18 months ago we got a yellow labrador and I am now very disappointed. Lint/dog hair must go "around a corner" to get from the wand to the dust bin and this constricted spot quickly gets clogged. I must repeatedly stop vacuuming in order to manually remove the blockage. Doing this over and over again for an entire house has made me fall out of love with this otherwise wonderful machine.

The V8 Absolute is designed with up to 40 minutes of run time and a direct-drive cleanerhead to delve into carpet fibers for ground-in dirt, hair and debris, with filaments to remove dust from hard flooring.
Routine maintenance is required to keep the V8 at optimal performance. Depending on your cleaning tasks (for example, if you deal with a lot of hair) the maintenance may need to be performed more often.

The only vacuum you need

I wish I would’ve made this investment a long time ago. I wanted a stick vac for quick clean ups at work and home. This vacuum is so efficient and easy to use, it actually replaces
my old upright vacuum. This is the perfect vacuum. Money well spent.

PERFECTION

So, this is my THIRD Dyson, purchased for use in our primary home. Third time's a charm, I guess, because this machine is exactly what I have been waiting for! It is lightweight, sturdy (metal wand), extremely good suction and cleaning power, the charge lasts for nearly an hour. The canister holds a lot of dirt and empties easily and without a mess right into the trash can. I wish my Big Ball Animal felt as sturdy and high quality as the V8 Absolute. I should have purchased two V8's (one for each floor) and just skipped the Big Ball!

So far it has worked fantastic. I have a lot of hardwood floors and area rugs and it works great! I will update once I start using all the attachments !

AMAZING SUCTION!!

Easy to use, charge lasts forever. It is so versatile, I cannot believe how much fun cleaning has become. My husband uses it as much as I do, if not more. No more cords and under the furniture is no problem anymore. Dust bunnies can't find anywhere to hide, not even on the ceiling. I have had a Dyson vacuum for years and thought it couldn't be beat by any other brand but it could. Dyson, you have outdone even yourself!

My kids love to vacuum!!!

I had the original animal dyson which was big and hard to maneuver around the house. I have 2 boys and had several cats, dogs, and now we have hamsters. So you can imagine the dirt and fun stuff you can see in the canister.
My kids love to vacuum now. They are amazed with the design. It's light and it can go under the tables and beds if you get down low.
