Best. Vacuum. Ever.

I have three small dogs and they all shed a lot. I cannot believe what a difference this vacuum makes in keeping my house clean. I also have a parrot and this keeps around her cage nice and tidy. My 19-year-old son even loves to use this vacuum!

Worth the price

This is my second Dyson cordless vacuum. There is no substitute! I actually still use my first one. I dropped the battery and bought the newer Animal right away. Decided to buy another battery and now have my original as backup. Over the years, I tried to save money by purchasing an Electrolux model for my garage- big mistake, no comparison to the Dyson. I bought a foreign knockoff for my daughter, cheaper, but a waste of money. This unit delivers.

Small, light weight for small task only

I bought this vacuum about two weeks ago and I love how it works what I don't like is how short the life of the battery is. I can only vacuum one rooms at a time. It's perfect for small tasks that's pretty much it. The battery had a short life sense I bought it and used it the berry first time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the updates from the V6!!

I love the updates made from the V6 regarding the canister area. It was such a pain to clean the old bin/canister area! Now it is so much easier. I think there is still room for improvement but it is much easier. Also I like the updates to the head of the machine. The suction area is wider so things don't clog it as much as the V6. With my V6 I used to have to clean that area out almost every vacuum round because debris would clog it and the vacuum would act up. I have not had that problem once with the V8. I also love how the V8 comes with more attachments. Great machine Dyson!

Great in-depth suction

I bought it about one month ago and have not regretted it. It has made such a difference to my carpets and floors, and it's so quick and easy to use compared to the hassle of setting up a regular vacuum with a cord. The only problem I have with it is the trigger. Because it has to be depressed all the time I find that it cuts into my hand. But a glove has solved that problem.

I ordered the V8 to replace my upright Dyson because the upright one felt too big for my apartment. The V8 is PERFECT! I'm so impressed with how well it picks up dirt from hardwood and carpet. It fits everywhere so I'm able to clean in all types of spaces and it's SO quiet compared to my upright vacuum. I love the different attachments as well. Highly recommend!

great product except battery life

I really love this machine with the exception of one thing-short battery life. Sadly, I cannot even get through the 1200 square feet of my downstairs! I wish there was a spare battery I could replace while the other one is charging so I could finish my daily vacuuming (thanks to a shed-y Labradoodle) Also wish there was an on/off switch instead of having to press a button constantly, but that is very minor next to the battery life.
