Always ready to go when you need it

It is very light weight. A single charge lasts a reasonable amount of time and it's relatively quick to recharge. The only draw back I have found is that when it comes to cat fur, the collection bowl fills very quickly. However, it is very quick and easy to empty and the small power head does an amazing job on getting cat fur out of our couch, which is one of the reasons the collection bowl fills so fast.

I have tile floors and this little guy is just terrific! No cords, no back pain, no hassle. I finish faster and it picks up everything. Wish I bought this sooner.

Turbo mode is awesome

Great vacuum for my apartment with vinyl flooring. The battery makes it great for vacuuming the car, too.
If I was to make one improvement it would be a battery with greater amp-hours. 7 minutes at turbo speed is limiting.

Dyson V8 Absolute

I purchased my V8 Absolute two weeks ago and am delighted with the results. The convenience of it being cordless provides ease of operation in any situation. The attachments provided allow cleaning diffusers, my automobile, and everything in between. The suction power is much better than my roller ball Dyson. I couldn't believe the dirt the V8 picked up.I highly recommend this vacuum, it is highly engineered and lives up to the performance expected by.any Dyson product.

Battery died a month after purchase

The battery died a month after purchase. The dyson support website is a mass because my machine doesn't show up in my devices after I registered it, and it keeps asking me to register for a new account. This vacuum also isn't the most ergonomic - you have to hold onto the button all the time for it to be turned on, and the motor head just rests on your hand - every time i vacuum my hand hurts. Definitely would not recommend.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's highly unusual to hear that after just one month of use, you are already experiencing an issue with your machine's battery. I did see a notation in your account that you were able to successfully utilize the troubleshooting on our website, and a replacement battery has been arranged for you.
We would certainly not expect there to be pain in your hand, while using your Dyson product. If you are finding this to be your experience, we would recommend holding the unit lower down the handle to prevent rubbing or pressure on the top of your hand. Please also keep in mind that Dyson cordless vacuums will feature a runtime enhancing light touch trigger, which requires little pressure to run the unit as well. It may also prove helpful to ensure the unit is held with a firm, but not a very tight grasp, given that the light touch trigger does not require a very hard press or grasp to operate. If we can ever be of assistance with anything else, please do not take to let us know.

I like every thing about this machine to this point. I am very happy with my purchase, I would like to see a battery upgrade in time to get more than 40 mins of vacuum. WHO would have thought vacuuming could be this fun DYSON BABY!!!
