Powerful Cordless

I have wnted a cordless for awhile but the battery life and power were not that good, this one is great in all respects. Great on all surfaces and does an excellent job on my furniture picking up dog hair as well as my canister Dyson.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have vacuumed more in the past week than ever before because I love this model! So easy to pop it off the charger and whip around the house. Dumps easily. No issues with the charge - I just keep it on the regular power, no need for max yet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great vacuum

I've had this vacuum for about a year, and it's definitely one of the easiest vacuums to use. It charges easily and I'm able to vacuum the entire house plus carpets on a charge (at regular power). It's very flexible with its many tools, and the ability to hang it on the wall to charge is amazing. I also like that you don't have to remove the vacuum once it's charged; it can stay in its charging station. It's also pretty easy to clean. Very nice.

this has changed my life. It's awesome. I am in my 80's and was having a hard time pushing my heavy vacuum around and I kept tripping over the cord. This is so easy to use, lightweight, and goes from floor to carpet flawlessly. Love the attachments and easily converts to a handheld. Just wonderful. Best purchase ever

This is the best investment I made in a vacuum cleaner, I liked it so much I bought another one for our other home in another state. Easy to use love that its cordless

Quick clean ups

I purchased the V8 stick for quick clean ups in between weekly vacuuming. I love the machine, is so quick and easy to use. I also own a dyson ball canister, Dyson makes the Best vacuumes!

Actual battery life is 10-15 max

this is a 10/10 products but the battery life info are totally misleading because it is based on the lower setting of the vacuum which can hardly clean anything
the real battery life should be based on the maximum cleaning power
which is a maximum of 10 min
if you cant be honest, fix this by enabling us to buy a second battery
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Dyson V8 cordless vacuum cleaners have a run-time enhancing trigger. Battery power is only used when the trigger is pushed – it is not wasted when moving from room to room, or moving around obstacles. All of our cordless units do come switched on to MAX mode out of the box, otherwise, when not set to MAX mode, a full charge gives 40 minutes of fade free power or 30 minutes when using the motorized floor tool.
When using your machine in MAX with the direct-drive Motorhead, run time will be approximately 7 minutes. Dyson Animal and Absolute variants come equipped with a mini motorized head which is designed to pick up pet hair from furniture and stairs. You can also use this tool with the machine in MAX power for optimum pick-up, if you find that standard power is leaving pet hair behind.

Nothing like a dyson!

I will only buy cordless dyson vacuums. I love the newest cordless version but it seems more plastic and cheaper than the older models. So far it works well but the paint chip off easily on the longest stick when going under furniture. I love all the different heads but on the the one head it is looking "used" already. Regardless I am still a dyson fan.
