Loss of Suction.....

I am usually a giant fan of Dyson. This vacuum has lost it's suction, Not sure why. Filters are cleaned and is great condition. Looking to move on past the Dyson love....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I LOVE my Dyson!

This is the best vacuum I've ever owned! It's never been easier to vacuum my home. I dreaded vacuuming my stairs, as it was so much work lugging my large vacuum up and down the stairs. Not to mention dealing with the electric cord. My Dyson allows me to easily and quickly vacuum my steps and every corner of my house in no time at all. I love the attachments and how easy they are to change out. I find myself vacuuming 2 or 3 times a week now instead of once a week. I can't wait to use my Dyson in my car!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it a month ago and it is really easy to use and is awesome on hard wood floors too! Great for cars and anything else you could it for for like your vehicle, blinds

Cleans Great and there's NO Cord!

I live in an apartment with two dogs, two area carpets, hardwood floors and a big guy with a bad back. The big guy rarely vacuumed because - as he said - our regular vacuum cleaner was heavy and hard to push. The V8 cleans our hardwood floors just as well as our regular vacuum cleaner and probably cleans the area carpets just as well, too (but that's harder to judge) and the best news is....it's light enough (and the "stick" long enough) that the big guy with the bad back can vacuum with no discomfort! My only issue with the V8 is that I'm not used to depressing the trigger to keep the machine on and after a while the area between my thumb and index finger starts to hurt. BUT - since the big guy with the bad back can now vacuum....well....life is good!!

Sure beats the large Dyson Animal ball vacuum which does not have the suction of this small, very light and handy one.

Very disappointing

I bought this sweeper to replace my old V6, which I loved. The V8 has much less power and the parts look much cheaper than the previous model. By the way, the old one is still working great for my daughter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
