I had previously bought a cordless vacuum from another manufacturer and liked it somewhat. It was not as strong as I thought it was going to be. So for my new house I bought the Dyson and I'm thrilled that I did. It is so lightweight and easy to use turns around corners beautifully. The attachments are so helpful I use they them on the stairs and for the ceilings and corners. I also use it in my car. It's one of the best purchases I've made this year.

Don't waste your money they stop working after a year or two.

If I had written this two years ago I would have been as happy and excited as the people in these other reviews. But, I bought a V8 animal stick about two years ago. I absolutely loved it. So much that I bought one for my friend as Christmas present and contemplated buying them for my sisters too! I am very glad that I did not buy anymore because now both my vacuum and the one I brought for my friend have stopped working. They were not heavily used and the both remain in great condition visually, but mine either won't charge or won't hold a charge and my friends runs but continually stops. It is hard to explain but it runs-stops-runs-stops while she is holding the button down. As great as these vacuums are in the beginning they are not worth the high price you pay and they are obviously not built to last. If is was just one vac. I might not feel this way but they both stopped working after about the same span.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for carpeted stairs and furniture

I have 7 cats. Fur everywhere. This is great for stairs and furniture. Lightweight is good. Connectors not the same as Dyson ball is one drawback-booooo. Still great. The other issue. Have is that I cannot seems to empty it without making a mess so I do that outside. Certainly much better than other upright vacuums. Keep improving you are doing a great job. But try to find a way to make universal connectors so tools can be interchangeable between products.

Not heavy and powerfull. The only thing is that the battery don’t last 40 minutes. Only 20 minutes and I have to recharge !

Nothing else like it on the market

It is so convenient and adaptable, and it DEEP cleans carpets like you've never seen. We had no idea so much dirt and dust was embedded in out oriental rugs, having used an old conventional vacuum for years. It blew our minds!. Now we have a truly clean house!
