Quits working

We have replaced the same part 3 times. Works good for a couple months, then goes out. Not worth the money and aggravation.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

V8 > V10 Dust Bin Opens Conveniently

I own two of these, one for upstairs one for downstairs. I also owned the V10 and tried the other omni glide. But this one is the best one, hence I bought a second one recently.
One major advantage of this over the V10 is how the dust bin opens. I can simply pull the trigger over a trash can to empty dust. The other newest models of Dyson vacuum you need to disconnect the stick in order to empty the dust bin, which is too inefficient and annoying :/ ... I hope Dyson would go back to make this kind of dust bin mechanic for future vacuums, otherwise V8 is the only vacuum I would use.

This was a present and its been several week since I've had it. This vacuum is amazing - it picks up EVERYTHING and has a different head for any kind of household surface. Its super impressive and sucks up things my old vacuum never could. It also comes with a side bag to put all the heads in.
A bit heavy, so I wouldn't buy this for my grandma, but you can hang the charger on the wall so its just chillin instead of taking up closet space.
This makes your adulting needs complete

I recall my first vacuum cleaner, the classic Electrolux torpedo. After that I've owned numerous brand of vacuums. This Christmas Eve I was at a friends house and saw the Dyson V8 hanging on the wall. After checking it out I knew I had to have one. The price is a bit daunting but it's worth every cent. I Love This Machine!
It's the best damned vacuum cleaner I've ever owned. Light, powerful, easy to use, easy to clean, and it does a great job!!
5 star rating from me, and I'm not easy to please.

I used this vacuum over a carpet I had just vacuumed with my hoover and was amazed at how much more dirt the Dyson picked up. I love it!
