Easy to set up and operate. Had a problem with a dead battery that would not charge. Customer Service shipped a new battery and no problems. It actually seems to stay charged longer than most people mention on reviews. Having a large number of attachments is really good. Kids have another model and don't have as many attachments.

the best tool in the house

First we bought the V6 and loved it, then we heard about the V8 and then saw it. It has twice the running power, and it is incredible. It is the only vacuum we use, and we use it everywhere - in the house, in the car, outside. We have all hardwood floors in the house, so it is perfect.

Wanted a cordless vacuum that was lightweight and powerful. The V8 absolute fits the bill. Dyson never disappoints. Excellent product.

Expensive and does not come with all cleaning attachments. Wall mount will not hold enough attachments.

I love this vacuum

I asked for this vacuum. for a Christmas gift. I absolutely love it. It makes house cleaning really fun. It is so easy and convenient to use. No more dragging a heavy vacuum up the stairs! No more bags to change. This vacuum is an absolute delight. We periodically take care of a dog that sheds a lot. This vacuum makes quick work of all the dog hairs.

I have used the new v8 several times now. The added run time is absolutely excellent. I can almost clean my whole house with one charge!
The suction power the machine has is great as well. The soft bristled brush does a very through job of cleaning hard surfaces. I have two westies who shed white hair everywhere. This machine easily picks it up. The carpet brush also does a very thorough job.
Lastly cleaning the bin out is so VERY easy.
In summar - I love this machine!! Way to go Dyson!!

I just bought this machine and it has made life so much easier. Quick cleaning & powerful... Time is of the essence and we have been able to take back time by using the V8 and spending more time with family! Best BUY!!!!
