This is our fourth Dyson machine and it is by far the best one yet. We cannot believe how powerful and quiet it is. I hated to get out the big vacuum for the house because we have stairs and I couldn't carry it up them. This is so lightweight and much more powerful than the large one we had. We have had this for just a week and a half and I've already vacuumed the house twice because I love it so much. The canister is so easy to empty it pulls the hair and dirt right off when you open it and empties more when you close it shut. Much better than our last handheld. We love all the attachments especially the hardwood floor 1 it but the wood and makes it look shiny while cleaning up all the cat food and dirt that falls on the floor. This was totally worth the price. Get one!

Best Vacuum EVER

I've been wanting a cordless vacuum for a long time, but I heard that the majority don't really keep a battery charge- this is not so with this vacuum. It's powerful and keeps it's charge well. I have a small apartment and I can vacuum the whole place without it dying on me. I also like that it can be taken apart and be used to vacuum our couch and other small or hard to reach places. Love it!!

I bought the V8 last week and haven't had time to use it much. It is well designed and well built. In my initial use, I am well pleased with its cleaning ability. I would recommend it to a friend.

We purchase another brand a while back and it quickly wore out and was scratching our wood floors. This unit even thought expensive works beautifully. We have two large dogs and two cats so fur is a big problem this machine does a super job!

I never thought that cordless would make such a big difference, but it has beyond exceeded expectations. It is so easy to grab and go that I vacuum much more often. my boyfriend actually enjoys vacuuming with it!

Received my new Dyson V8 last week and I love it! It's so easy to attach and remove the power heads and accessories. This vacuum is very light to handle and makes vacuuming easier for me. I have shoulder problems so using a heavier, less maneuverable vacuum would be painful for me. Couldn't be happier with my purchase!!!
