Great for Solid Surface Floors

I just installed laminate hardwood floors through the first floor of my house and was trying to find a vacuum that I could easily use on the new floors and the carpet upstairs. Being able to swap the sweeper heads makes it SO EASY! The suction power lasts through the battery dying and it is light and easy to maneuver. In addition being able to take it anywhere and not needing to worry about a power cord allows me to quickly vacuum my stairs. I am in LOVE with this vacuum and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I've only had this machine for 2 weeks but it's the most easy to use and powerful vacuum I've ever seen...I used to drag my old machine out twice a week to vacuum everything but now I just grab the V8 and vacuum up anytime with ease...I'm finding the lack of cord to be a wonderful thing and the rugs (and furniture, and ceiling beams and woodwork) have never been cleaner....I would definitely recommend this great vacuum to anyone, especially those folks with stairs.

The vacuum works great for the five minutes it works before the battery dies. Marketing said up to 40 minutes of battery life. Didn’t realize that’s only on the weakest setting with no attachments. Add attachments and take it off the weakest setting and it last for five minutes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Right out of the box, the machine will be switched on to MAX mode. This mode provides a powerful boost of suction, making it ideal for larger debris and more stubborn messes. If you ever find that something isn't picking up in regular mode, you can easily switch the slider in to MAX and get that boost of suction. This mode isn't intended for everyday vacuuming, as it does only provide about 7 minutes of run time. Regular mode offers 30-40 minutes of run time, depending on if you're using a motorized attachment.

I use this vacuum all the time. It is lightweight and easy to get around things. Especially awesome on the spots where my cats like to lay. Cleans it right up in no time. Love this machine and now own several models.
