Great Investment!!!

I've had my Dyson V8 for almost 8 months now.
Greatest investment I've made for a while. It's lightweight and makes it easy to carry upstairs. Also it makes it easy to whip out anytime It's needed. Attachments are so easy to interchange. Don't mind vacuuming my dog's hair from sofa and loveseat. Too easy to empty and recharge. I wonder...if the V8 can do all this, what more can the V11 and other models do? Anyway, the Dyson V8 is a great investment. Thanks Dyson.

The tools, the ease of use, convenience, light weight, and quality are all why I buy Dyson. After years of Dysons, my husband bought a Shark and I hated using it every day. As soon as I had a chance, I bought the new Dyson and won't buy any other brand again!

We have a central vac system in our 3 story house that is powerful and does a great job. It is however cumbersome and makes you not want to get it out. We really like to deep clean and then spot clean as necessary to keep the house looking good. we bought a V6 model for spot cleaning and loved it so much that we decided to get the V8. We have wood and tile floors with area rugs, including a super deep pile 5 x 8. The suction is very good. The floor powerhead is amazing and far better than anything on any system. The attachments are great and the carpet attachment even works on our deep pile, you just have to back drag (we had to do this with our central vac too). This is an extremely light and portable unit, but feels very sturdy. if you can afford it, get it.

I had seen a few ads for Dyson, but I didn't understand how great they were until I used my sisters (Motorhead model). I started researching models and reviews and decided the Dyson V8 Absolute was the way to go for me. I live on a farm in Kansas with a husband and a housecat ("Cheddar the Shedder") in a rather large older house. The main floor is mostly hardwood with a few area rugs and vinyl type flooring in the kitchen and bathrooms. I used to use a broom on almost all of it and then follow up with a microfiber type mop to catch the finer dust and cat hair that had been missed or redeposited. I did have a traditional upright vac for the larger area rugs. This machine is very effective and efficient! I can now do everything much faster and more thoroughly than before. I love using it and now vac all the main areas and sofa almost daily in around 10 minutes. It's satisfying, and maybe a little bit mortifying, when I empty the dirt bin sometimes! I have had this machine for almost a month and have no regrets.

Just received this machine and I am in love with it. I have a Saint Bernard and 2 cats on hardwood floors and carpets. This machine picks it all up with ease and the soft brush does not even need to be cleaned of dog hair after use.
