Simple to use

Just bought the machine and it has great suction, very light, easy to change attachments, and make vacuuming almost fun. Only problem, it seems to fall way short of having the promised 40 minutes running time on a charge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great features

I own the Dyson Animal V6 and I love it I bought both of these products at the same time due to the fact that when I read the reviews that the V6 only last 20 minutes and the V8 last about 40 minutes. Well the V6 is very powerful and it works for me. I did not plan on vacuuming my whole house with it but with the V8 I can vacuum my whole house.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Everything I expected and more

It’s hard to get excited about a vacuum but this one really is worse excitement. I love that it is so efficient and so lightweight. Are used to have a Dustbuster in my utility room that made a lot of noise and A regular vacuum cleaner is it in places like stairs. I’ve gotten rid of both and now I have a vacuum cleaner that is easy to transform to a handheld or a regular vacuum, whatever I need.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A tool for every occasion

Having a cordless is as quick and efficient as I had hoped. It does a great job on bare floors, is good on area rugs (I don't have any carpets) and works well on dog hair on the bed and sofa. There is a tool for every occasion. The regular speed is quiet and max has the extra power when needed.

This is a great vacuum. Plenty of power, light and easy to handle. I like the attachments and ability to change power levels. If I were to make a couple of suggestions for improvement, it would be to allow a lock on the handle so you don't have to hold the trigger to keep the machine on. Secondly, I find it difficult to empty the dirt bin...the bottom doesn't open up easily. Perhaps I'm not doing something right. But all in all, this is a great machine and I love it.

WOW! I LOVE it. It's light weight (I have a torn shoulder) and quiet yet the suction is unbelievable. I have 3 cats & need to vacuum every other day. This makes it simple. I have carpeted stairs which they seem to love to lounge on. It's quick and is no longer a chore to grab this machine and do the stairs. The swivel head on the carpet attachment allows the back of the stairs easy to do. Furniture is a breeze. Filter cleaning couldn't be easier. I'm exploring new uses for all the tools that come with it. I wish there was a bag or more room on the base for all of the attachments for storage. Will never buy any other brand of vacuum cleaner. Dyson has a customer for life!

Awesome vacuum

My wife loves this vacuum, to be able to just simply grab it and run around and vacuum real quick big jobs or little jobs works very very well, This is so easy even I (her husband ) use it.
