My granddaughter has a V7 and loves it. She sold me on getting one.
It's great and easy to use. Love that it's cordless and lightweight. It is easy to use...emptying the bin, changing attachments..

Lightweight and maneuverable

I LIKE this vacuum a lot. I was looking for something to be able to take all over the house. Suction on regular setting is OKAY… not as strong as I would like. MAX setting drains the battery pretty quick. Appliance loses some suction at the connection between the unit and the accessories. Was hoping for a little more vacuum for the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just upgraded to this Dyson V8 Absolute from the DC35. There is absolutely no comparison possible. This machine's suction is unbelievable. With my DC35, I could always vacuum my rugs. Not with the V8 on Max power! Have to put it down to standard in order to vacuum rugs. I'm just so satisfied. If you are hesitating on whether or not to buy this vac, don't. You will just love it.

As far as the machines ability to clean is outstanding. The only problem I have with it is that the battery life is too short for me. I have a dog that is constantly shedding. If the charge time was considerably shorter this wouldn't be an issue for me. Minus the battery life, it is an outstanding machine. I would recommend this product to a friend.

I've had several Dyson vacuums over the years and all of them are still working and have exceptional build quality. This V8 is no exception. I use the V8 at least 5 days a week. Very good suction, useful attachments and ease of use.

I am happy
With my purchase but I dii on have a couple of suggestions for improvement. Why does the power button need to be held on? It creates an uncomfortable hold by requiring this function. Wish it had a light by the brush attachment.
