Great with pet hair!

We recently purchased this machine to replace a corded upright (and a broom). With 2 children and 5 pets, there is a lot of hair accumulation on our floors and this vacuum, especially the hardwood floor attachment, has turned what used to be hours of sweeping/vacuuming into a 10-15 minute job. The max mode is more than enough power to pick up all the fur and dirt on our rugs. It's light weight and simple enough I don't feel like its an absolute chore to pull our and use. I can't recommend this vacuum highly enough.

I just purchased my second one for upstairs. Love the light weight and easy to use. Love the soft rotating head for my vinyl flooring. and my 4 year old grandson loves using it too. Which makes Grandma happy).

With 2 cats in a very warm climate, I needed a vacuum that could keep up with all of the cat hair. The V8 is up to the job, I love it!

Product was new out of the box and never worked.

New out of the box , charged for 6 hours, vacuumed for 20 SECONDS and stopped working- I will never purchase a dyson again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best vacuum I have ever owned

This is the best vacuum I have ever owned! It is easy to use, has great suction and tools, lightweight, and it makes vacuuming fun. Vacuuming used to be one of my least favorite things to do and now I look forward to using my Dyson. I love it:)

Toddler and dog tested

I wanted a vacuum that would get the dog hair and random toddler mess up off my area rug and hardwood floors. This is perfect. I have tried another brand and it wouldn't pick up anything. This cordless works as well as most regular corded vacuums without being as large or as noisy. The charge holds well, the two floor attachments are the best I have ever seen. The canister is on the small side, but it is not a full size vacuum. My only complaint would be storage on the wall mount. Only two places limits when this model comes with 6 attachments is disappointing but also having the two right next to each other severaly limits which two attachments you can choose to hang.
